Water skiing is an exhilarating sport. There are water ski clubs and resorts all over the world offering beautiful scenery and top notch water skiing settings. Canada has no shortage of such places. From British Columbia to Nova Scotia there are plenty of worthy destinations.

McClintocks is located in o­ntario. It is situated o­n Puslinch Lake in Cambridge. The club offers reasonably priced instruction with expert ski instructors. The club is open to all ages. Skiing is available from the beginning of June until the end of August.

Shalom Park is a water ski resort located o­n a man made lake just south of Edmonton, Alberta. Many prestigious tournaments have been held there. Shalom Park offers members access to o­ne of the best private water ski resorts. The facilities are beautiful enough that weddings are sometimes held there.

Shuswap Lake Water Ski and Wakeboard Centre has various lesson packages available for water ski instruction o­n Shuswap Lake in British Columbia. They also offer day camps for adults and children.

Fraser Valley Waterski Club is located in Abbotsford, British Columbia. It offers membership packages for access to facilities o­n the lake at Albert Dyck Park, which is a public park. They also offer access to the club for non-members o­n public ski days at certain times.

Lake Country Board and Ski Club is a non-profit organization located o­n Wood Lake in British Columbia. They offer recreational skiing and also various instruction programs. All ages are welcome.

There are numerous other water ski clubs and associations throughout Canada. Nova Scotia Waterski Association, Vancouver Water Ski Club, and Gloucester Water Ski Association Inc. are just a few more. With pretty mountain scenery and beautiful lakes, Canada makes a worthwhile destination for water skiers.
